@  traderpusa : (16 January 2019 - 08:49 AM) bar chart is the least distracting chart imo that allows you best to see the levels.
@  traderpusa : (16 January 2019 - 08:48 AM) you never hear me talk about a candle formation, cause when i change TF, poof ! the formation is gone.
@  traderpusa : (16 January 2019 - 08:48 AM) as time is of little importance in Larry because we draw levels from highest to lowest TF, candles are of no importance at all
@  traderpusa : (16 January 2019 - 08:47 AM) only high and low, and even then, only when it is a price reversal.

Hi Guys , Today I tried these 3 indicators and it was good for the first day but there are not so much signals if you only act like me EUR / USD if you want more signals then you have to add more pairs.
First, Xtdf must be overbought or oversold, and at the same time hill no repaint must be overbought or oversold. 1 min TF 5 min expiry.

Normal Settings for Xtdf
Hill No Repaint instead of 14 you make 10
BB Normal Settings

I'm curious if you can add any ideas and it would not be bad if you post results. Because this was the first day with this Strategy , Thank's !

BTW . I know "Hill No Repaint Can Repaint" haha . But it´s good to filter out bad signals of Xtdf indicator .

Result for Today 4 ITM 0 OTM

1 trading day history cannot make any sense ..you need at least 2-3 months to see the actual results ..

The biggest problem with reversal strategies is when a waterfall comes.I Hate it. There are so many strategies but there is not much to avoid a waterfall or YOU have any ideas?

Good system worth some merit. I would forget the arrows on the Hill and just eyeball it.

I have used hill extensively. Take only good hits to the lines, never one that craws along the line and kinda goes out.

Waterfalls can be avoided when you just get a good hit. And if the hill is inside the 25-75 window.

Go to the common area of the settings for Hill. set the min at 25 and the max at 75.

If the hill goes out of this window it is strong chance of trending (short or long term).

This is one way to curb Waterfalling.

If trading in the Asian session you get less waterfalling and less signals.

hello everyone

First thanks to MilosZ2 for posting this.

Here are some things to consider. It may help someone.

1. I hope no one is trading at this time of year. I wait for the 2nd week of January to be safe.

2. Hill does repaint. That does not mean it is not good to use, we are always in a flowing, moving market so repainting is not bad, it is just measuring what is current. With that said you cannot GO Back and look at a chart and say how wonderful an indicator is. Has to be evaluated live.

3. I added another Xtdf of 20 to the 5. You can make it 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 just play with it. This is one factor that can help detect waterfalls (strong trends). Remember there is no such thing as overbought or oversold LOL.

4. As for the hill if you get a band movement in one way or another - it could be trending that way - look for when the band is going counter to the signal.

5. I am looking at the M5 with a 15 min trade.

6. I like this for a 3 min trade not 5 - look at it and see if it fits you better.

7. TURN OFF THE ARROWS FOR HILL and think. It is just a piece of the puzzle. The arrows will mess it up.

8. Novecentas did use the Xtdf in a system, he add VOSTRO111 to it. May help but not sure and not using it.

I will post some screenshots soon.

May God Bless EVERYONES New Year

Thanks @FXTRADESMAN I know that hill no repaint is a repaint indicator and I have also written in the first post, why the people always say that the indicator repaint 😂 I do not understand ^^. And there is no holy grail no repaint indicator that gives 90% or 100%. I've tried more than 500 if not 1000 indicators but it's not easy to find something that works consistently but you have to try it and I post strategys here to help people or that the People shares ideas so THX @FXTRADESMAN .
