I just logged into my account of CToption. I deposited several months ago (June), but the account stayed unused. It happened so that short after my registration i found out that the signal i was about to use through the api of Signalpush (not from Signalpush's marketsplace itself), was unreliable, by showing pas results that would not be reached in people's accounts. I already had the free api credits from Signalpush and then there was another signalservice about to start, also through the api of Signalpush. But also that didn't go by plan, as they kept having the "coming soon" at their website for the automatic trading. So my account stayed inactive for several months and i just saw that CToption has been charging me "Dormant fees" since August! They never sent me any forewarning BEFORE getting charged, to give me a chance to withdraw or to keep the account active by taking some trades. Instead they silently steal my money from the account. People with CToption accounts or who think of subscribing: be warned!!! Also be warned about stockpair, they do the same!! Might start a new topic on that, but gotta go for the moment.

(my deposit at CToption: 256,- Total "dormant fees" till now: 200,-)

The real question is why do you leave money in accounts and not use them or trade? They are not banks you know? Like O_M to the G! Next they will need to provide interest on you money hmmm.. A binary options broker that pays interest new marketing idea!

I'm sorry this happened to you. it's good that you say it. i don't like brokers that charge a "dormant fee". when i open a new account with a new broker i always ask about it now. i saw a similar post from a forum member about stockpair.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. CTOptions is 100% garbage. They will do anything in their power to take your money.

I don't remember what exactly i have read at that time. There was no intention to have an inactive account, but i just looked into it and yes, indeed it's in their terms and conditions.

However, a company that cares for their customers would at least send a warning email in advance instead of silently taking the money out. They just took another 50 euro's in the weekend. I feel disturbed. I was better off making a withdrawal straight away.

Wow thanks I didn't know about this with Stockpair. If I do not deposit for 3 months then deposit will they take the fee from my new deposit?? or is this just a case of them charging fee's when you have an account with a balance but you are inactive?
