@  traderpusa : (16 January 2017 - 10:39 PM) Repainting usually refers to the arrows a system draws, for example bad arrows on a live chart disappear when you reload or change tf
@  Lootanery : (16 January 2017 - 09:40 PM) idk what everyone complaining about repaint. If it doesnt repaint, it just paint again. So whats the difference ?
@  hp699flva : (16 January 2017 - 09:22 PM) I really dont know since I have never started a thread - might pm the admins - David, Tripack, etc...
@  canman : (16 January 2017 - 09:16 PM) HOw do I do that?
@  hp699flva : (16 January 2017 - 09:15 PM) you get more exposure by starting a thread and hopefully someone may be able to help you.
@  canman : (16 January 2017 - 09:13 PM) Thanks again for alll the hard work and efforts by many on here.
@  canman : (16 January 2017 - 09:13 PM) I noticed in the past, it was not repainting, thus the reason for my implementing it in so many strats. I'm quite a novice when it comes to coding or any technical such thing, so I was hoping someone here, may be able to give me some insight as to wht this indy is suddenly acting strangely? I have tried in on different MT4 platforms and all of them have the same results. Confused and frustrated..............Would apreciate any help.
@  canman : (16 January 2017 - 09:11 PM) Hi group. I was hoping someone may be able to assist me with an inquiry? I've been trying out the smajustin indicator on multiple strategies, using it with other oscillators and indies for confirmation. I thought I had found a solid system, and for some strange reason, it seems the sma justin is starting to repaint?
@  Singh : (16 January 2017 - 08:40 PM) @ZeusDCS hows you man
@  ZeusDCS : (16 January 2017 - 06:24 PM) Hello Singh! Long time no see buddy

For those who are keen on this strategy and style of trading. Demo it for next week. Post all your charts here for discussion.

Once u get the idea, we can start a skype trading group. Hit me up with your skype id via the PM here. But this is strictly for traders who are competent at a certain level.

i seriously do not want teach members how to install the indicators onto their MT4 over at skype.

This strategy and style demands quite a lot from the traders. Newbies to trading, i would highly recommend u soak up all the discussion here, demo it. achieve a level of confidence before joining the skype group.

The learning and sharing will be done here at BOE.

Trust me, u will learn more from a forum like this rather at a skype trading session, really.

Too much chatter at Skype and no one gives a shit if u cant catch up.

i am here to share, to contribute and to a little extent, teach to the best of my abilities.

But for all these to work, u have to haul your own ass. Sounds harsh? yeah, tell that to the market.

Hi Hubba!

You have a very nice strategy :)

How do you determine when to enter after the green or red VC dots? I mean, if you enter next candle after the dot, but after you enter the trade second in the row dot appear? How to handle that?

Or maybe you are talking about the S&R dots? :)

1st reversal candle after vc hits ob/os, trade the next candle......ie. trade reversal the vc indi for most ppl.

"All these happened before the green confirmation candle. Based on the indicators, strategy, template and guidelines, this was a legit entry for CALL.

But if u look at the market, the size of the red candles, the number of SR levels it busted, the rate of fall. That was a 50-50 as it can go both ways after the green confirmation candle.

this is how i looked at it. It was a risky confirmation candle. And market sentiment at that time is down.".....unquote

There were 2 put trades after this potential call trade....ie. skip call and go for put trades(5 all together) as they presented themselves......indicates you already had a overall short bias to the market at the point of the 1st call trade potential which turned out right ending with a "hyper extended" short trend move.

I'm sure many would like to be able to read the market like you did but that remain beyond their reach. More examples such as this may help nudge them forward. And the spot/futures market beckons those who acquire such skills. Good job mate.

thanks yawyks !

u described how i trade in one sentence while i struggled to explain it in 4 posts and not even getting to the point of clarity !

geez there is still so much to learn.

This morning I'm demoing the new strat.

1# PUT lost.

xeVxQCr.png

I broke the vc thumb rule... but i liked how the previous candle tested the resistance so went with the trend with a put 15m exp.

What about hubba?

You have a very nice strategy :)

How do you determine when to enter after the green or red VC dots? I mean, if you enter next candle after the dot, but after you enter the trade second in the row dot appear? How to handle that?

Or maybe you are talking about the S&R dots? :)

i was referring to the VC 'dots'. Those are not dots but the portion of the VC candle that breached the OB/OS level. i deliberately tweak the setting of the indicator so it appear the VC candles are light grey if they are not in the OB/OS region.

i do not enter after the VC alert comes on. I get ready to enter only after the VC alert comes on. U will have at least 5 mins to make the decision once the VC alert comes on.

Once the VC alert comes on, next is to watch for the closed of the next candle. If the candle after the VC alert come on, closed in a colour counter the preceding candle, an entry MIGHT be in the cards.

I mentioned before, VC is only there to serve as an alert to tell me the pair is in the OB/OS region. If the VC alert keeping sounding off, it does not affect my trade decision. Because my trade decision lies in the next immediate counter trend closed candle.

Look at the charts i posted again.

Yep - in the Options under Tools at the top.

Also can't find it as an indicator on the Indicators List for the Chart that came with yr template...

So stuck with "3 hrs 1 mins until GBP: BOE Gov Carney Speaks" ;-)

Any ideas?

PS: Got the last 'Call' trade - perfect!  :)  :)  :)

Great job mate!!

Always clear, great strategy and clean chart (like the old one)

I has watching the same chart, I took this thade just before:

gbpusdbo-m5-global-derivative-markets.pn

VC sounded off, waited for PA confirmation, entered for 15 minute right after the pinbar.

I haven't taken your same trade because to me it looked to far from previous resistance and in a too strong trend, moreover I haven't seen a clear PA, But clearly I was wrong, you read much better than me and killed the candle!!

I have so much to learn in BO from you and expecially from your way to think!
