(Season 3) Day 17/30 on the fury road loaded with Molotov cocktail and some !

Posted by seanair , 09 April 2018 · 2,303 views

Aye a good start to the week, ahead we forge with conviction!
Post NFP Monday is usually an easy ride with good catch up from Asia and then a follow through in London session.
I was like a Horse Soldier galloping hard with EU today.

This is where we hold them ! This is where we fight ! This is where they die ! Earn these shields, lads !
Glorious day as I advanced a little more once again. Going to stand my ground here at the 500 mark. Looks set to be an easy week to break into 600.
But I am still looking forward to that elusive all win week. So one down and four more to go.

Ready your breakfast and eat hearty, for tonight, we dine in hell !
Glorious day, earnings is good. Live to trade-fight another week, HA-OOH...HA-OOH...HA-OOH !!!

What is your rule for deciding when to stop trading on any given day?

A few rules that I stick by for stop trading.

1. I trade by a time slot. It is a 4 -hour slot. Once the time is up, I am done win or lose. I cant function as a trader after that much time. This is my limit.

2. I do not let myself lose more than 50% of my previous or nearest winnings. Once I hit that number, I stop.

3. If I have already suffered losses on my account at the halfway mark of 2 hours. I stop trading altogether. Reason is simple. We are all human, if I were to continue after the 2 hour mark, it would be full of revenge trading and skewered judgement on setups and egoistical MM. My psychological threshold for focused trading is 2 hours. The later part of the 2 hours really depends on how I have performed during the earlier 2 hours.

Awesome!
have had great trading days in the past with decent daily profit (sometimes between 10-25% day) by finishing my trading at the end of the london session, only to see those profits disappear and even get into the red because I somehow couldn't resist the urge to make "just this one more" during US session, seeing all the activity and apparently nice setups...  I find it hard to trade morning only and stay on the sideline for the rest of the day when the session was good (conversely, when the morning was bad, revenge mindset kind of sets in)

So you are well far ahead on the discipline side of this battle!!
